Situated in the picturesque harbour at Porlock Weir in Somerset, The Harbour Gallery and Cafe showcases work from local artists and craftspeople, inspired by the beautiful West Country landscape. A variety of art is on display from Painting and Ceramics to Jewellery and Crafts and exhibitors are changed every 10 weeks to ensure there is always fresh new talent on display as well as our regular favourites.
Whilst visiting the Gallery take time out to enjoy a drink and homemade snack in our Cafe and Terrace, overlooking the Harbour. Revitalise in the tranquillity and natural beauty of this very special place.

We are open 7 days a week, from 10.00am until 5.00pm. (This time will vary according to the weather, please telephone if you wish to check.)
Our current exhibition is a joint exhibition by Jane Hood and Sue Lowe. Jane paints Somerset landscapes using mixed media on handmade paper.
Sue’s pieces on show at The Harbour Gallery are all hand-printed on an etching press, from richly-textured collagraph plates. Her work is concerned with textures and surfaces and draws inspiration from the lines and patterns found in nature. The fascinating geology of the beautiful West Somerset coast is a recurring theme in Sue’s work.
We also have a great collection of ceramics and jewellery, with new work in for 2018. Please see our Blog page to find out what is on.
